Pajamas are awesome. Whether you’re wearing some to wind down and relax after a long day, or just want to wear some for a lazy day, pajamas are comfy and colorful. If you love anime and manga, however, you may wonder what pajamas are available for you.
Not only does the anime scene have traditional pajamas, but they also have kigurumis. Kigurumis are one piece animal pajamas, and the word combines kiru, or to wear, and nigurumi, or stuffed toy.
We’ve gathered some of the best pajamas out there that are centered around anime, so let’s get started.
One great thing about kigurimis is the variety you can have. These kigurumis are available in various animals. You can be a cow, penguin, dragon, or whatever else you set your mind too. Kigus are awesome because not only do they cover your entire body and make you feel like you’re in a sleeping bag, but they fit all sizes. So give them a try.
2.Monokuma and Monomi Kigurumis
For the person unfamiliar with the video game and anime Danganronpa, Monokuma just seems like a cute bear with a somewhat creepy face. However, if you’re a Danganronpa fan, you hate this bear for killing some of your favorite characters. Despite this, you can’t help but to feel like the master of despair whenever you wear a kigurumi based on him. This kigu is comfy and comes with little bear paws. Also avaiulable is Monomi, the rabbit avatar from Danganronpa 2.
Even those who aren’t familiar with anime or Japanese culture can more than likely name a few Pokemon. With hundreds of Pokemon to choose from, it’s no surprise that a few of these pocket monsters made their way to becoming kigurumis. There are more Pokemon kigus than just these, too, so check them all out and see if your favorite Pokemon is available for you to wear.
Kill la Kill is an anime centered around clothes, so it’s no doubt that some of these clothes would be wearable as pajamas. In this case, it’s the pajamas the protagonist Ryuko Matoi wears during the show. These cute bunny pajamas will make you sleepy just looking at them, and are a great way to relax after a long day. They also make for a lazy, but unique twist if you’re going to cosplay Ryuko. Everyone does her schoolgirl or her transformed outfit, so why not be pajama Ryuko at the con?
Who doesn’t love a shibe? These Japanese dogs have become popular in the west for a while thanks to Internet culture, and now you can wear a cute little shibe around your body. This sleepwear has a cute little anime shibe on it, and it will make everyone go wow.
6.My Neighbor Totoro
Even those who aren’t familiar with anime have probably watched at least one Studio Ghibli movie. For those who enjoy the giant pile of fluff that is Totoro, here’s a pretty nightgown. Relax after a long day with your friend Totoro, who is a long and comfy nightgown.
Naruto is still one of the most popular anime franchises out there. If you’re an anime enthusiast, you’ve probably invested at least some time with the ninja who will soon be Hokage. This pajama suit makes you feel like a ninja of the Hidden Leaf village, but a ninja who is ready for a lightning fast nap. Great for a night filled with eating ramen and binging the hundreds of episodes Naruto has to offer.
8.Attack on Titan Pajamas
With these pajamas, you’ll be ready to take on the titans… tomorrow. Attack on Titan is another popular anime that involves slaying enemies that are larger than life. This pajama outfit is adorned with the titular titans as they terrorize your body. If you want to feel like a titan slayer, you can’t go wrong.
These are just some of the anime pajamas you can find on the internet. With so many to choose from, what’s your favorite? Are there any you think we missed? Tell us in the comments below, and make sure to post pictures of you enjoying a night in your anime PJ’s.
